The easiest way is using Windows key + Shift + S. This opens the Snipping Tool, allowing you to select a rectangular area, freeform, window, or fullscreen snip, which is then copied to your clipboard for pasting or saving.

Here are 3 Ways to Screenshot on Windows 10:

Print Screen (PrtScn) – Captures full screen (paste in Paint)

Win + Shift + S – Snip & Sketch tool (partial screenshots)

Alt + PrtScn – Active window only

Yes, there are several ways to take a screenshot in Windows 10! The easiest are:
  • Print Screen key (PrtSc/PrtScn): Pressing this copies your entire screen to the clipboard. You then paste it into an image editor (like Paint) to save.
  • Windows key + PrtSc: This automatically saves a screenshot of your entire screen to the "Screenshots" folder in your "Pictures" library.
  • Windows key + Shift + S: This opens the "Snip & Sketch" tool, allowing you to select a rectangular, free-form, window, or full-screen snip. The captured image is copied to your clipboard and you can click the notification to edit/save it.
